The application of our bespoke motorized sliding and folding shutter systems has been successfully completed at the Ankara Beytepe private residence project, for which we proudly provide consultancy services through Sunfrac.
In line with the architectural language of the building, façade geometry, and the end user’s expectations, project-specific patented solutions were developed by Sunfrac’s design and R&D teams. Within this scope, on the upper floors a globally unique single-panel system was engineered to collect 3 panels to the right and 3 panels to the left – a configuration developed exclusively by Sunfrac and unmatched worldwide – while on the ground floor a wider-span solution featuring 4 panels stacking to the right and 4 panels stacking to the left was specially implemented to achieve maximum opening capability, smooth movement, and architectural continuity without compromising façade aesthetics.
Sunfrac motorized sliding and folding shutter systems go far beyond conventional shading or security solutions. Fully integrated with smart home and building automation systems, these advanced façade elements actively contribute to thermal comfort and climate control, daylight and natural light management, sun–shade balance, and privacy control – all of which can be adjusted according to time of day, seasonal conditions, and user preferences. As a result, the building gains a dynamic, adaptive façade identity that responds intelligently to both environmental conditions and daily living scenarios.
